Prop 13 – “Seismic Retrofitting”

Would prohibit tax assessors from re-evaluating property for property tax purposes if new construction is for seismic retrofitting.

Would change the primary system to allow all voters to vote on a candidate for State or Congressional office regardless of party affiliation. Top two candidates move on to general election.

Would loosen regulations on auto insurance companies to allow for “persistency discounts” — that is, changing the rate of coverage to reflect how long an insuree has had insurance.
